Our people can learn at any time of the day, any place on any device. It’s easy! Courses tend to be bite-sized modules, which can be programmed in most people’s daily diary meaning learning can happen at any time to suit both the individual and the Company.

Glass Factory
Carl started working with Anglian on the backshift toughening glass and after two years in the plant applied for a supervisor roles. Since then, he studied a degree in Management Studies and was promoted to Area Manager.

Liberator Road Factory
Martin started at Bowthorpe working on the sash cutting and prep work in the factory. Martin is now a mainframe saw operator and is very important to the production of the Factory.

Jonathan is a well trusted member of the team and is an inspiration to many of our new surveyors joining. During Jonathans longstanding career with Anglian, he has been hugely passionate about what he does, delivering excellent customer service to our customers, operations and sales colleagues.
Julie Smith
Marketing
Julie first joined Anglian in 1996 working evenings and weekends in our “link Line” team which is now our Contact Centre. As her children got older, Julie grew her hours and responsibilities as she progressed to Team Leader. From here, Julie has had a number of roles within our Guarantees and Product Development Departments, to her current role as Marketing Communications. Julie is a well-respected member of our team with a fountain of knowledge.
Jason Metcalf
Glass Factory
Jason started work at Anglian, developing his skills over the years within our Glass factory. Jason is a skilled operatives that helps supports our new colleagues in their early weeks of joining on how we glaze windows.
Keith Milligan
Regional Footcan Manager
Keith started working with Anglian in 2003, first as a Footcanvasser, then progressed to Telecanvasser Manager to his current role of Regional Footcan Manager. Keith is a very motivated person and has always encouraged his team to work to the best of their abilities and develop the skills needed to consistently deliver targets.
He drives his team managers to always train and support new starters to become high performers. Keith's journey reflects the opportunity for progression within Anglian and says it is the perfect place to build a career, if that is what you want!

The Forum
We have a well-established Employee & EHS Forum called THE FORUM, which is an all-encompassing forum to cover all EHS matters within all areas of the business plus discuss any other people related matters including training, charitable events, welfare matters, and other points of interest which our people would like to voice. The Forum is Chaired by a member of the Leadership Team and its fundamental aim is to facilitate communication top down, bottom up and to share ideas, concerns and help deliver improvements across the business. Representatives attend The Forum on behalf of their colleagues and truly have an opportunity to have a say and support engagement within the workplace.
Occupational Health
The health of our people comes first and with the support of Occupational Health, we provide a whole host of ways to support our people’s well-being through health checks, eye and hearing testing, to well-male/female clinics and general occupational health support and advice.
IT
We invest in technology to ensure that our people get modern, innovative IT equipment and applications, to enable them to carry out their work to the best of their ability and with efficiency. Customers can see that we are ahead of our game with the delivery of our service in a professional way. We are always looking to identify innovative ways to work, listening to ideas from our people and subsequently adapting the approach we take. We recognise that technology moves at a pace, and we have a IT strategic plan that supports our future initiatives – we are always looking to learn and progress too!
